Summer weather has finally arrived and we’re making the most of it. These views have been on repeat since the sun finally decided to show herself and I’m not mad about it. For those of you who don’t know, I’m a mom to twin boys and a little rescue pup. I used to get asked all the time if we were going to have more kids. Now that they’re older, I don’t get asked as much, but when they were little my automatic response was spend 24 hours at my house and ask me after that.... (aka NO!) Having said that, I love my boys more than anything in the world. My little family is the best thing I ever could have hoped for. All of this to say, I am incredibly fortunate to be able to enjoy time with my boys. I’ve had those days wishing I could be with them but not being able to get away from the office. And I know what it feels like to miss out on their memories. I work hard, probably harder than I ever have, but I make sure my work time is balanced with the time I get to spend with them. Otherwise, what’s the point? . . . . . #betruetoyourself #beyourbestyou #findyourhappiness #livethelifeyouchoose #womeninspiringwomen #fempreneur #couragecoach #alwaysmoveforward #goalgetter #juststart #whatmattersmost #selfacceptance #believeinyourself #yougotthis #letsdothis See more

Yesterday was my two year anniversary from leaving my corporate job. I thought I'd mark the day by giving you a small glimpse into what working from home looks like, or more specifically, what I look like while working from home. Actually, if I'm being honest, this is definitely a more put together day because I had client Zoom calls. Normally I have a messy bun piled on top of my head and work in my lulu's all day long, but you get the general idea. This is a pretty bi...g switch from how I used to show up for my work day, and for those of you who have known me for a while, you can back me up on that! Gone are the days of high heels, platinum pixies and makeup (for now at least)! I'm definitely embracing the working from home look, and while I loved the lashes, heels, and ever changing hairstyle, I'm loving my 'au natural' look just as much. Thank you to everyone who supported me while I made the decision to start down a new career path and who stood by me while I found my feet. And thank you to my clients for trusting me to be your coach. It's been an amazing journey, and it's only just begun! I'm looking to build some new pieces into my business to launch in the fall, so stay tuned to hear what I've got in store. See more

A few years ago, I was on the senior leadership team at a great company with an equally great corporate culture. I was fortunate to work with some amazing people who I am lucky enough to still call my friends, and I expanded my knowledge and experience because of my time there. From the outside looking in, I had the makings of a pretty enviable career. But I wasn't feeling it and it was super defeating. And if I'm being honest, at times the sheer amount of second guessing lef...t me feeling pretty worthless. I lost my sense of confidence and self respect, and when I ultimately left, my wellbeing was in the tank. The reason I'm sharing is because I know there are people who can relate to this right now. You may have a great boss, a great position, and work for a great company, but you still feel trapped and discouraged because of your situation. I hope this serves as your wake up call. You don't have to settle and you don't have to accept it just because it seems like you should. Slogging through your day and driving home in tears just isn’t worth it...and yes, I did that too. Now, I work with women who are exactly where I was. Our coaching sessions are focused on getting them to a place where they love what they do and can make money doing it. My clients are challenging the status quo and leaving behind the learned behaviours that held them back in favour of getting after what they really want. They are becoming more in tune with what matters to them and how they measure success. And best of all, they are being more courageous and starting to believe they actually do have what it takes. Breaking free from familiar patterns is hard. But so is breaking down because of them. You choose. See more
