Remembrance Day 2020. Lest we forget.

Mrs. Kashuba and Mrs. Wright's JK class did a choral reading about poppies and watched a video from the Royal Canadian Legion to commemorate Remembrance Day.

Mme Stajkowski’s Grade 2 class painted poppies on rocks as part of their learning on Remembrance Day. Students learned that the poppy is a symbol that reminds us to never forget the sacrifices made by veterans to protect our freedom. A big thank you to Mrs. Mermans for providing us with the rocks. Lest we forget.
