#teakdiningtable ! This amazing table comes with 2 leaves (21wide) that can easily be added or taken off. Without leaves it is a great compact table with seating for 4! Shop Shot from our first day opening November 20, 2015! It is the shops #5yearanniversary It’s said that a 5 year anniversary calls for a wood gift, which symbolizes durability and I’d say right now that is fitting for our little shop! For those of you that might care to read on, I first need to acknowledge that we are located on original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation .... The shop first began as an online shop in June 2015 as a result of a shared love of road trips and treasure hunting with my partner at the time, and co founder of Época Haus. A few months after, I found myself unexpectedly out of work for the first time in my life since I was 14! As a way to manage the unexpected change in my life, I began thrifting like crazy and swore to never return to social work again! Thrifting became a way to handle my anxiety and free time and needless to say the treasures grew out of control. So we took a chance and opened a shop to sell all of our accumulated treasures! We opened what we wanted to be The best #midcentury, #vintage , #modern and #unique shop in #winnipeg! That was 5 years ago today and much has changed since! I have returned to social work with periodic breaks. I now do this alone and with much less time, less support, less physical help (my 12 year old helps as he can ) and much more autonomy! I have now continued to manage the shop alone for about 2 years and I still love finding treasures! And while my style and design/decour abilities could arguably improve, I find it more important to focus on the quality of the items and in our customer service! I take great pride in doing this work with honesty, integrity and trust. I spend endless hours in cleaning, fixing and refinishing items the way I would want them if they were to come into my home! Oh and yes, we also believe that it’s important to use the shops platform to bring awareness on important social justice issues and we will continue to do so! SOLD-Teak #barcart and what a bar cart it is! The top is expandable so it can open up when you need more space or keep it closed. There is a gorgeous removable #teaktray with vinyl top as well to take out and use as needed. This is a gorgeous piece and very much like the bar cart design of #gretejalk ! Recently cleaned, oiled and the top refinished! Excellent condition!

SOLD-This #midcenturysectionalsofa is a time capsule piece from the 50’s/60’s! All original three piece sectional with built in storage/bar, side tables and 2 ottomans that can be arranged to your preference. Recently professionally cleaned and no rips or stains with some dark areas from use on the seat cushions. The two side seat cushions could use new foam. This baby needs space as it is just under 9 feet long in each direction (106x106) It required an Arial shot to capt...ure it all! We did consider having it reupholstered but it’s too much of an investment for us especially with not knowing fabric and colour preference of the potential buyer! But if you want a solid piece of amazing furniture that will last you another 50 years, it’s an investment worth making! It’s truly an amazing piece as it is!
