We had the absolute pleasure of participating in the "Winter Classic" a couple of weeks back, particularly in support of the DIFA "Aarons Mill" Instrument lending program. Once again, a fantastic 1000 Islands Music Student Showcase to conclude the summer! Thanks to all the students for their hard work, all the families that came out to support them, the musicians that volunteered their time to make it happen and Wall Street Church for their facilities. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jenny Rogers-Lane and the entire Lane family, many of who weve had the pleasure to teach in the past, for their generous donation to provide funds towards a childs music lessons. The donation was made in memory of late father and husband Ben Lane, who passed away this past spring. Ben brought his kids to lessons for years, sometimes on multiple nights and was a musician himself plus friend to the local Brockville music community. On behalf of 1000 Islands Music we thank you!!

The show was a great success, and students played incredibly well with our Instructors/Easy: Electrified Blues Band as their backing band.
