OPEN STUDIO SAFETY MEASURES Ensuring everyone stays safe & healthy while participating in this year's Crawl is our absolute top priority. Here is a guide to... the safety procedures for in-studio visits we will be following, formed using the guidance and most current recommendations from Vancouver Coastal Health, WCB & BC Centre for Disease Control. CRAWL ARTISTS, STAFF & VOLUNTEERS: SAFETY PROCEDURES -Artists, staff & volunteers (as well as attendees) must wear a mask within studio buildings. All are asked to self-screen prior to entering any studios, and to stay home or cancel their appointments if they are feeling sick. Anyone who has traveled outside of Canada in the two weeks leading up to the Crawl or who has had contact with a confirmed case will also not be permitted to enter artist studios. -To aid with contact tracing, visitors will be checked in upon arrival for their appointment and are advised to arrive 15 mins early for this process. Walk up visitors will not be permitted to enter the building. -All artists, staff & volunteers (as well as attendees) are asked to follow physical distancing regulations, and are asked to wash their hands every hour and as needed. Hand sanitizer and/or hand washing stations will be available throughout each building. -The Eastside Culture Crawl society has appointed a Health and Safety officer who will oversee general festival safety and respond with pre-established procedures should it come to light that anyone at the Crawl was infected with COVID-19. -Following each 50-person pod visiting a studio building, studio visits will break while all common areas are sanitized using BC CDC-approved measures and recommended disinfecting products.
