We would have been happy with a just quick visit from #MayorMikeSavage, but WOW!! He came for the pitches and stayed to chat with the kids about #Halifax for nearly a half hour last night. How fortunate we are to have such a wonderful person steering the ship here in our great city. Our young presenters - Neve, Siobahn and Leah did a fantastic job pitching for their charities. Together we raised $350 for Operation Smile Canada. Thanks to the generous support of local realtor,... Colleen Ryan we will also provide a small donation to the runner-up charities: Icing Smiles, Inc. and Habitat Nova Scotia. Of course, none of this would be possible without the ongoing support of our amazing partners: BOYNECLARKE LLP and Bloom Wealth & Legacy Planning. If you need legal counsel or financial planning, please support them like they support us! Thanks, as always, to all the parents for bringing your children to our events. It was great to have so many new faces in the room last night. Hope to see you at our June First Aid event in partnership with St. John Ambulance. Until then, keep caring!

Happy Friday! Shouting out with some big love to our friends at Woozles. Not only did they contribute some of proceeds of their sales during our event, they also added an extra $200 donation that we’ll be sharing among the three charities pitched for a grand total of $420 for the Australia Wildfire Relief, $100 for Elder Dog and $100 for Children’s Wish. Woot!!! #halifaxnoise #halifax #kidswhocare
