100 Men of Oshawa present an interview with Don Lovisa, the President of Durham College in Oshawa. . . . What brought you to 100 Men of Oshawa?... . . I advocate for community support and for giving back to help those less fortunate. Together, as a community, we can make a significant difference. I’ve belonged to both the Scugog and Oshawa 100 Men organizations. It is very difficult to raise $10,000 and I like the ease by which small not-for-profit organizations can benefit from a casual networking event. Like most, I was invited and was impressed and stayed with the organization. . . . Member Showcases . . Member Showcases . . What keeps you in 100 Men of Oshawa? . . The networking and opportunity to meet other like-minded men in the community. An opportunity to make a big difference for a very small financial contribution. The club is well organized and it is an enjoyable evening. I always learn something new about what services are available in the community and mpressed with the dedication and hard work of those who represent the various not-for-profit organizations. It is a great concept that works very well!

Congratulations to 100 Men of Oshawa founder Keith Cowley & his wife Cheryl on the birth of the first grand child, Grace (Gracie) Ann Verkaik, Born Monday Sept 28, 2020 at 6:41pm. Weighing 8lb 7oz. You’re now a founder of a new club, 100 Grandpa’s of Oshawa!! Congratulations from all of us!!
