Throughout June we have been blessed to be able to come back as a congregation and worship together while still following the rules put into place by the B.C. government. If you are wishing to attend a Sunday Service please either call (250-395-2337) or email ([email protected]) by Thursday of each week.

Greetings 100 Mile EFC Church Family As the province of B.C. begins to lift the restrictions put into place from the COVID-19 the E-Free Church of 100 Mile has also begun to lift restrictions. However we are following closely with the provincial recommendations and therefore still have many restrictions in place. Since we are only able to have 50 people within our sanctuary, while also keeping social distancing in place, we are asking anyone interested in attending a Sunday service to either call the church and leave a message by Thursday (250-395-2337) or email by Wednesday ([email protected]) and let us know how many would like to attend and on which Sunday.

SUMMER CAMP UPDATE DUE TO COVID-19 You have been in our hearts and prayers as we make decisions about summer camp. After 50 years of camping on God’s Word at beautiful Lake Of The Trees Bible Camp, we continue to value the well being of our campers, workers, and their families. We have been actively monitoring COVID-19 restrictions and adjusting our Summer 2020 program. Based on the direction of Dr. Bonnie Henry and the BC Camps Association with whom we are accredited, we ...have made the difficult decision to suspend all overnight children & youth programs, including Work Crew. However, Dr. Henry did grant the green light for children & youth Day Camps! We are now planning Day Camps with precautions for campers’ and workers’ health. One of the precautions will be daily bus pickups and returns at 100 Mile House/Forest Grove, and Lac La Hache. We are one of the few camps in BC and Canada to still remain open. The new Day Camps schedule and fees will be posted on www.lakeofthetrees.com and FB June 1st, with registration opening June 2nd. Our Early Bird discount season will extend to June 30th. We know cancelling overnight camp is disappointing, and we trust you’ll understand. Those connected to Lake Of The Trees Bible are involved because we exist to show God’s love to the children, youth and families of the BC Cariboo Interior through fun, Bible centered camping. If you would like to see the camp before sending campers, a tour can be booked by phone, FB message, or email. We will continue to monitor the current state of BC health laws and follow directions from our local/governing Public Health. If we can re-open overnight camp programs, you'll be the first to know. In the meantime, please follow our Facebook page and check www.lakeofthetrees.com to stay connected. We are grateful for our camp community and know that we will get through this together. On behalf of all of us at Lake Of The Trees Bible Camp, we wish you God's help and blessing. We look forward to seeing you again at camp!

*Copied from RZIM Facebook page* This morning, our beloved founder and apologist Ravi Zacharias went home to be with Jesus. RZIM’s CEO, Sarah Davis, shares this reflection on her father: On January 4, my dad recited a stanza from this hymn from the late Richard Baxter (1615-1691): ...Continue reading

Good Morning all, Below you will find that Jesse prepared this Sunday's devotional, he prepared it in two formats, one so you can read it the other so you can watch it on YouTube, Which ever one you chose for your devotional we pray it finds you well and in good spirits. Here is the YouTube link: https://youtu.be/f-AQXX-bnhU... And here is the devotional written out for you to read: Being deployed from family is always hard, Our church has been deployed into a time of solitude and social distancing. None of us knows how long we are going to be in this time, or if we will ever find ourselves back to what we knew as normal. We as a church have been training for a time like this for so long; however, like most things in life that surprises us, we were not exactly ready. We weren’t ready to not see our relatives, friends and church family regularly. We weren’t ready to be cooped up in our houses for days on end without seeing another face outside of our household. All this training was it for not? Are we ready? Are we ready to remain strong if the day comes when the church will be persecuted against? Will we stand strong in our faith in the face of our adversaries? Are we ready for when Jesus descends from the heavens to claim us as His children? Are we ready? Were we just doing church, putting on our best for our Sunday morning service and forgetting about the hard times that are prophesied about? Or are we ready to be the church? The bible is full of warnings about being prepared; we are to prepare our selves like the brides waiting in the night with the lamps of oil, and taking with us spare flasks of oil, not being like the foolish brides unprepared with just the oil they have in their lamp (Matthew 25:1-13). We are to be prepared because Jesus is coming, and we do not know the day or the hour (Matthew 24:44 & Matthew 25:13). Please don’t be put down by my words I believe our church is full of saints, those who will be caught up with Dead in Christ as He descends from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God to call us home (1Thessalonians 4:13-18). Maybe, during this time of social distancing, it is time for us to be reminded to be prepared, to be ready. We need to be sober in spirit, and be on alert, because our adversary, the devil, he is prowling like a roaring lion, and seeking someone to devour (1Peter5:8.) Equally so, we need to be prepared because we do not know when the Lord will return to call us home. So, Friends, Brothers and Sisters; Remember, prepare yourselves and be ready. -- Your faithful brother in Christ, But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24: 15 Jesse Darby
