The Kings continue their winning ways by beating the Renfrew Wolves 4-2 at the Mat-e-way Activity Centre. Kyle Curtin picked up the win in nets and Luca Cecarelli rounded out the scoring. The team is back in action tomorrow night, once again in Renfrew, versus the Wolves, continuing in developmental scrimmage mode.

Lumber Kings win second game of a home and home 6-0 to stay undefeated. Ethan Emanuel led the way with two goals, while Alex Urbisci Cameron Hough Josh Reid and Zack Martin had singles.

Happy Birthday to the versatile, talented PLK Alum Jeremy Gates! Gator scored some big goals for the Kings during their championship years and after his Pembroke days, excelled at the NCAA level. The Michigan native is currently passing on his hockey expertise on to the next generation as he’s coaching in the pros guiding the ECHL’s Rapid City Rush. Congrats Gator!

PLK nation have fingers crossed but happy with recent news that Commissioner Abrams is optimistic the CCHL will be able to return to play October 1st, pending health and safety regulations are put into effect.

Happy Birthday to one of the most exceptional athletes Pembroke has produced in recent years! Brandon Gagne celebrates today and his resume includes over 200 games with the PLK including a National Championship, an exceptional NCAA 4 year hockey career with Neumann College in Philly, not to mention an off the charts golfing ability and he even dabbles in baseball, gracing the local diamonds as a member of the Bamford Braves. Congrats Gags!

Happy Birthday to former PLK sniper and Cobden native Adam Brace! One of the most naturally gifted skaters and scorers of recent PLK history, Adam was a pleasure to watch as he helped lead the Kings to many post season accolades. After Junior, he excelled at the NCAA level and went on to play pro hockey! Congratulations Adam!... hope you enjoy your birthday!
