Without our crystal ball, we have no idea what things will look like come December and small businesses live and die on Q4 sales. If there is a small independent business you love and you'd like to see them still in business in 2021 - consider starting your shopping early so they can get those sales even if they have to continue to limit the number of people in their shops going into the holiday season. #shoplocal #putyourmoneywhereyourhouseis #indieshops #economybuilders

We have a very limited number of signed bookplates for this fabulous book, thanks to our friends at Penguin Random House Canada. Makes a super gift for the discerning reader on your list. Remember - October is the new December. From The Guardian: "Bennett is a gifted storyteller. This generous, humane novel has many merits, not least its engrossing plot and richly detailed settings, from smoky small-town diners to gleaming laboratories...the novel proves to be a timely testament to the redemptive powers of community, connection and looking beyond the self."

Although they come from diverse backgrounds, the unlikely friends try to make the best of thei...r situation. The pilgrims grow closer on their journey, but they may not make it to their destinationthe Cathedral in Santiago. If they do, will they each find what they're looking for, and will their newfound friendships endure? KEVIN CRAIG is the author of contemporary young adult fiction (SUMMER ON FIRE, BURN BABY BURN BABY, HALF DEAD & FULLY BROKEN, PRIDE MUST BE A PLACE, and THE CAMINO CLUB) and contemporary adult fiction with young narrators ( SEBASTIAN’S POET and THE REASONS).
