Saturday November 28th, get dressed in your festive best. It’s official! We are holding the 11th Annual Lindsay Jolly Jog with our friends over at A Place Called Home, and we are exactly one month out from the date. The event will look different from previous years, with COVID-19 safety protocols being top of mind.... Jolly Joggers can either meet us at the Calvary Pentecostal Church at a pre-arranged start time for our set 5km route OR, choose to run their own self-guided 5km route on the same date. Running in the event is free, with a suggested minimum donation of $20 for those over age 16. We have also introduced a pledge system this year for those who are interested and able to help us drum up extra support! All funds raised are split between the Food Source and A Place Called Home. There will be prizes for Best Festive Dressed contests for adults, children, groups and pets, and a prize for Most Funds Raised. For more information, and to get registered visit https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/lindsay-jolly-jog-2020-registra Save that Date, Joggers, and stay tuned for more info!
We are just under two weeks out from the running of the Lindsay Jolly Jog 2020, so it’s time to start thinking about those festive costumes, joggers! Locally sponsored prizes will be given for best costumes across four categories: adults, family, group, and pets. Whether an elf, a snowman, or the jolly man in red, we can’t wait to see what participants come up with. Check out the photos of past participants below for some costume inspiration.... For more information on how the event will work or to register, visit us at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/lindsay-jolly-jog-2020-registra To keep up-to-date, follow the Lindsay Jolly Jog Facebook event page!
