Our very first (hopefully last virtual) Mess Dinner. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
Recently we had the pleasure of receiving this photo from Ms Susan Elliott. She sent a photo of her father Mr David Krowchuk from 1942. Mr. Krowchuk wanted to join the Canadian Forces during WWII but he was too young. He instead in 1942 joined the newly formed 126 Air Cadets, now the 126 Flying Lancers. The photo is of Mr Kowchuk standing in his brand new uniform. We wish to thank Ms Elliott for sending us this piece of our Squadron's history.
126 Flying Lancers were able to bring out of storage the model planes donated in 1992 by Mr George Atkin, please note the manually typed description. A description was created for each plane. The display cabinet was built and donated by Mr John denOuden. Both males were cadets with the 126 Squadron. Thank you.
WE will still be conducting virtual training at this time, there will be no training at our location tonight. WE anticipate to begin In-Person training in the very near future. If you are interested in joining, please refer to the Cadets Canada website for joining instructions.
Notice to all the cadets of 126 Flying Lancers Squadron, new cadets or returning cadets. Unfortunately we have not yet been approved for any in-person training, which was scheduled for tomorrow, October 7th. We have been waiting, anticipating our approval, as long as possible. We will begin virtual training, starting tomorrow for all levels. For any person who wishes to join, please direct any questions to [email protected]. We want you to be a part of our S...quadron and we will arrange virtual introductions. We anticipate to begin in-person training by November 4th. Thank you for your patience during this unique time.

126 Flying Lancers Squadron members, new or returning Cadets please refer to the letter from the Commanding Officer, Capt Knight. Cadets will start in-person training on October 7th, 2020 at our usual time, 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Any new members wishing to join, please utilize the new on-line registration program from Cadets Canada, which was posted in August. If you have any questions do not hesitate to message through this Facebook account or contact Capt Knight directly through his email address contained in the attached letter.
We are proud to introduce a new Online Registration Tool to make the registration process easier to join cadets! Parents/guardians and prospective cadets can no...w visit our website at www.canada.ca/join-cadets to receive information to help them start the registration process. The tool will gather their contact information as well as the unit they are interested in joining and forward it to the corps/squadrons’ generic mailbox. Corps and squadrons will then be able to contact the parent/guardian to answer any questions and arrange for the completion of the registration process. This is the first release of the new Online Registration Tool. It is the first of many improvements meant to support the current registration process, it does not replace the required documentation or FORTRESS data entry requirements. The Online Registration Tool will continue to evolve to streamline the current registration process.
