What a day it has been for our family. Thank you for your support Peterborough. In a perfect world I’d have the brunch menu ready to post and tease you with for tomorrow, but it’s been enough excitement for one day. We are tired and our hearts are so full. Also it brings me joy that so many of you have booked in for breakfast tomorrow without even knowing. How cool is that Coming at you tomorrow morning, live with my coffee mug with the menu that you’ve all been waiting... for. Reservations are still available to book online or in person for tomorrow and Sunday brunch. Takeout for pickup will also be available 10am-2pm (online on our website www.rareexperience.ca) and dinner pickup as well. Don’t hesitate to pre-order on our website. It’s the inspiration behind the entire collaboration and as we get closer to our launch day tomorrow it’s really starting to set in. Life has amazing ways of influencing the path and journey that we all decide to take. From our shared love of sparkling wine, to Tyler’s die hard obsession with fried chicken to our entire staff and our love affair with vinyl. Since the beginning of the pandemic our kitchen crew has had a unique vinyl setup. It started with a couple records here and there. Eventually it grew into so much more. An obsession if you will. We can’t count how many times we’ve been to Blue Streak since March Recently Tim hooked us up with these incredible totem rainmaker speakers for the dining room so that we can jam everywhere in the restaurant. Music has truly helped us cope with the weight of Covid-19. We started the week with heavy hearts - worried about what this next chapter would hold for our restaurant.
