Winter has arrived! North Thompson River.

UPDATE: The Clearwater Valley rd. is CLOSED approximately 7 km up as highways make repairs. Residents and staff will be allowed access, but the Clearwater Valle...y Road will be closed to visitors. We will up date you as soon as we hear anything. CAUTION! Water is crossing the road in two places on the way to Wells Gray Park. Highway crews are working on it now and expect to clear it soon. The rivers and creeks in the Wells Gray area are brimming- please do not get too close to them during your adventures, banks are eroding and the water is full of logs and debris - it is dangerous.

What better ? Bear and the beautiful Valley roadside Lupins - something to cheer us up in this wet June (thank you Ellen Helset Ferguson)
