Devastating theatre news today. Brent Carver, one of the greats and a true original, is gone from us, at 68. A huge loss. And a unique, puckish spirit, too. Here's a photo (by Robert C. Ragsdale) of Brent with Jessica Tandy in Long Day's Journey Into Night at Stratford), and Brent as Jaques in Stratford's 2010 As You Like It (photo by David Hou). Our hearts ache.
