The Municipality of Thames Centre offers a wonderful way to pay lasting tribute to individuals or organizations through its Memorial Bench Program. Plaques will be provided for the bench at no additional cost. The Municipality invites the public to pay recognition by purchasing a park bench to be placed around town. https://www.thamescentre.on.ca//res/memorial-bench-program
After some construction delay due to the pandemic, the Thorndale Lions Community Centre is progressing nicely. Opportunities still exist to support and sponsor this great new facility. Please refer to our website: https://www.thamescentre.on.ca//thorndale-lions-community- for details on sponsoring a room (only two remain), the wall of fame and engraving bricks. All interest and questions about donations/sponsorship should be directed to Dave Graham, chair of the fundraising committee, at [email protected]
