150 Mountains 09.11.2020

Hike 149 Mount Fernie getting close to 150 mountains for Canada's 150th so excited... Located in Fernie British Columbia she has an elevation gain of 900 meters in just over 8 km round trip. It Was a rainy cloudy day but there's no rest for the wicked, so we went up and still had some spectacular peekaboo views. I believe the clouds also give it a whole new perspective, plus who doesn't like walking in the rain.

Mount Douglas hike number 148 on our way to 150 mountains for Canada's 150th. this little guy is located in the heart of downtown of Victoria, on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia. Offering spectacular views of the city and the Pacific ocean, this little hike can't be beat. Seriously jealous of all the people who can hike this at anytime of the day, and at any point of the year.

Whistler Mountain hike number 145 on the way to 150 mountains. Located as you guessed it in Whistler BC. It seems I have bad timing when it came to this location. Due to the snow, none of the big hikes are open up here until July. That's a tad bit late for my timeline. Alas I could still hike the top two hours of Whistler Mountain. One of the longest Gondola rides I've ever taken and this one came with a summit to Summit additional gondola ride that you could do . As you can see the photos, the Summit is getting an awesome new bridge, you can walk onto and across to the next peak. can't wait till it's done, maybe one day try to walk across.
