UPDATE #2 -- Re-save the dates! With Ontario's recent announcement that spring break will now be held the week of April 12-16, our plans for the Cadet Activity... Program (CAP) will be aligned accordingly. The "Cruise-into-Spring" CAP Challenge still promises to be a fun and exciting week. Given the date change, we will review availability and feasibility of locations and facilities (for possible in-person trials) and previously selected activities, guest speakers and daily schedules. We recognize the evolving COVID-19 environment, including the risk of new variants, and all CAP activities -- whether virtual or limited in-person -- will be conducted in accordance with Gov't of Canada, provincial and regional/local health authority direction and protocols.

We have a lot of cadets, volunteers, and members who are struggling right now. If you need help or know of someone that needs help, speak up. There are a lot of resources available that are free and confidential. This program is open to all volunteers, cadets, and their families. ... Bell Let’s Talk Day is this Thursday, January 28. To start the discussion, here are five simple ways to help end stigma around mental illness: 1 Words matte...r. Be careful with the words you use when talking about mental health. 2 Education is power. Learn the difference between facts and myths about mental illness. Know the warning signs. 3 Be kind. Treat everyone with respect. 4 Not everything needs to be fixed; sometimes people just need a helping hand or listening ear. 5 Continue the conversation. Whether it be in a team meeting, during a training day, or on social media, continue talking and sharing your ideas about mental health. Your personal stories and lived experiences are the best defence against stigma. #BellLetsTalk https://letstalk.bell.ca/en/ways-to-help
