Saint George Orthodox Cathedral of Regina 21.11.2020

Parishes of our Episcopate November 15, 2020 Dear Father and Faithful of the Parish:... On Sunday, November 15, 2020, I will remember the 40th anniversary of my consecration into the Episcopacy. I was ordained as Auxiliary to Archbishop Valerian. His Beatitude, Metropolitan THEODOSIUS was the principal celebrant with Archbishop VALERIAN, Bishop DEMETRI, Bishop BORIS, Bishop MARK of our Orthodox Church in America and Metropolitan CHRISTOPHER of the Serbian Church (all deceased). This was in our Saint George Cathedral in Southfield, Michigan. God willing, I propose to serve the Divine Liturgy at Holy Dormition Monastery in Rives, Michigan, this Sunday in thanks to God for His many, many blessings; not just for 40 years, but for a lifetime. Thank you, Lord! I will send to each parish a check for $40.00 US from my personal account as a gift to your parish in thanks for the years, few or many, of prayers in my behalf. This may take a while, but I advise you now of the gift. Please remember my departed parents, Joseph and Vera. With fatherly love and gratitude, +NATHANIEL, Archbishop Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America A Diocese of the Orthodox Church in America PO Box 309 Grass Lake MI 49240-0309 USA (517) 522-4800 / Fax: (517) 522-5907 https://roea.org

In North America, there are National Holidays as well as other holidays based on some long-forgotten event. Canada and the US each has its own Thank...Continue reading
