Augie’s Ice Pops is HIRING for the summer season!!!!! We are looking for people to start work May 1 through until September and October. There are FOUR different jobs we are hiring for. If you are interested please send a COVER letter explaining what position you’re looking for along with your resume and two job references. We won’t respond to applications sent without a cover letter. We are holding interviews next week and the week after. 1) Store Supervisor you... must have experience in food, hospitality and/or retail in supervisory position. You will be opening and closing the store and be responsible for cash outs. It is a very busy role as we are also making Popsicles, sealing them, boxing them and selling to the public as they come into the store. You can lift 50 pounds; not afraid of responsibility or working hard! Familiarity with inventory and ordering also a plus. Scheduling and responsible for staff. Should have or be willing to get food handlers certificate. MUST LOVE ICE POPS. 18-20$/hr 2) Food/retail help-You will be working in the store: making Popsicles, sealing, labelling, boxing etc. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. it is a very fast paced work environment. some events and farmers markets. Hospitality experience and or food a big plus. Must be friendly and outgoing.16$/hr 3) Farmers market sales person Must have drivers license. You will be responsible for loading and unloading all equipment for farmers market, setting up and selling ice pops. Must be available all weekends Saturday Sunday Monday. Very outgoing! Friendly! Also must be able to lift minimum 50 pounds. Very physical job largely outside. Like camping but selling Popsicles at the same time. please don’t apply for this job if you do not have your drivers license. $16 hr. 4) Kitchen popsicle mix makerThis is a part-time job for someone working Sundays and Mondays. You will make all of the fruit juice mixes for our Popsicles. Ordering juices and fruit. Must have food handler certificate. Experience in restaurant or food handling required.
