The Safe at Home Manitoba grant will provide $3 million in grant funding to organizations and individuals who are able to produce free programming for Manitobans to stay safe at home, such as live streaming of the performing arts, cooking classes, at-home fitness programs, and home-based art programs for children.
Christmas Lighting Contest will be judged on December 10. Rural residents and businesses are asked to call the Municipal Office to enter by December 9.
After a difficult fall and winter, the Rural Public Works crew had their work cut out for them in 2020. The crew pulled 12 miles of shoulders and fixed the equivalent of 4 miles. Kudos to John and staff for your continued dedication to improving the rural roads in Boissevain-Morton! Although poor rural roads has been a longstanding problem, the Municipality of Boissevain-Morton and the Rural Public Works crew have committed significant resources to improvements. The long-term goal is to fix at least 4 miles per year to get ahead of the problem. In order to do this, the Municipality has invested in a dedicated construction crew and a maintenance crew. #growexpandthrive
