Our main priority is the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and community. We also want to see things return to normal as soon as possible. If you do not have a mask or cloth face covering, we do have a small amount available for patient use. If you are unable to wear a mask due to medical reasons, please contact the office so that appropriate arrangements can be made; your vision and eye health are also a priority. Although this Thanksgiving is very different for many families, we still pause to be grateful for all that we are blessed with. It’s the first day of school! With the return to work and school, safety is a priority for many people. It’s important to have protection all around the eye, including the sides. Regular prescription glasses may not provide the level of protection that you need or want. Safety glasses are available in both prescription and non-prescription options. + = FOG! With all the mask wearing of late, glasses wearers are finding a new enemy... fog. Our provincial association brought in a great anti-fog cloth that Dr. Olsen has been loving. We have them available at our clinic! They are reusable and simple to apply. Call the clinic to arrange contact free pick up!

Linda has been with our office and caring for patients since we opened in 2011. She will be missed as she has been a valuable member of our team. This year, we decided to celebrate 2020 by increasing our community involvement and initiatives. One of the things we decided to do was celebrate the achievements of our graduating students by sponsoring a "Physics Prize" for the student with the highest mark in Physics. Although the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible for us to present the awards in person, we were very happy to mail these awards to 5 outstanding students from participating schools. We hope that this awa...rd will encourage them to continue to explore the fascinating world of physics and assist them with their future educational adventures. We would like to congratulate ALL the graduating students of 2020, as well as their parents, teachers, and everyone else that helped them along the way. Your graduation year has been truly unique, and you have shown a tremendous amount of grace, humour, and inventiveness in celebrating this great achievement!
