Another great evening of virtual training with Rocky Mountain Rangers 2458 Revelstoke 3063 British Columbia Dragoons Army Cadets, and Lillooet 3067 Royal Canadian Army Cadets Corps. Our guest speaker, Capt. Max Birkner from The Rocky Mountain Rangers was fantastic as he told us about his experiences is the CAF. We were also lucky enough to have Maj. Scott Bissell from RCSU(Pac) to teach us about cadet corps are supported and the positions at RCSU.

Just because we can’t meet up in person right now doesn’t me we can’t keep parading... Virtually that is. We have joined up with Rocky Mountain Rangers 2458 Revelstoke , 3063 British Columbia Dragoons Army Cadets, and Lillooet 3067 Royal Canadian Army Cadets Corps to learn together. One great thing about virtual at this time is that we can have amazing guest speakers that we might not normally have.... Thank you, Major Wade Peters, of the The British Columbia Dragoons for joining us. We all enjoyed your presentation and the answering of our questions.

This Remembrance Day will look very different then most. Even though it may not be safe for us to gather doesn’t mean we can’t Remember at home. Wear a poppy, place one in your window, or put one as your profile picture. Share the stories of your family members who served so that they will not be forgotten. On November 11th, join us as we stand for a moment of silence.... Lest we Forget (All Cadets filmed in Cemetery from 2018, filmed prior to COVID-19)

The cadets had the years first 1 day training FTX. They refreshed their skills on bushcraft while also learning to lead in small groups. We even found time for a hike. Even while using social distancing the cadets had a great time learning. If you are between the age of 12-18 years old, why not join us! It’s free.
