188 COBRA WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS Regular Training - This week will be our fourth week of regular training on our Discord server. Please ensure to show up for period one ready for class for first period at 1900hrs as per usual. This week will be our first CO's Address at the end of our training night. Going forward in lieu of our normal CO's Parades at the beginning of each month, we will have a mass meeting with the entire squadron at the end of the training night. These wil...l begin directly after 3rd period at 2050hrs and run no later than 2110hrs. Ground School - Ground School continues this week. Any cadets regardless of rank or level are more than welcome to attend ground school on Thursday nights if they are interested in aviation based training. Please meet in the Ground School Discord Channel to join the class at 1900hrs. Class will run from 1900hrs to 2100hrs Parade Positions - Cadets holding the rank of Flight Sergeant (FSgt) or higher, may submit a narrative to be considered for a Parade Position. The narrative is to be no more than 500 words, detailing which position(s) you wish to be considered for and why you would be the best candidate for that position. Cadets may apply for more than one position. One narrative per cadet Promotion - Cadets holding the rank of Flight Sergeant (FSgt) or Warrant Officer Second Class (WOII) wishing to be promoted to WOII or WOI, respectively, are to notify Capt La of their intentions via email at [email protected] Deadline for submission is 07 October 2020

Hello Everyone, We are excited to get to our first night of training on our 188 Discord server. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the platform, we are going to have our senior NCOs who are familiar with the program there 30 minutes early to assist cadets who are struggling with some of the technical aspects of using the program. If you are having issues setting up audio settings or unmuting yourself, please arrive at the server NLT 1830hrs so we can ensure that all cadets participating can communicate effectively in their classrooms.
