LISTENING FOR GOODNESS Sunday service October 4, 2020 10:00 am 11:30 am October’s Theme: A Community of Deep Listening... Join the virtual service here: https://tinyurl.com/UFPsundayservice Each of us is so much more than any given moment in timemore than any word, or any interaction. Building on last week’s topic of forgiveness, we look at how we can listen for the whole person, and to seek to find their goodness. This can be especially difficult when we don’t like what someone has said or done. So, is it possible to tune into another, perhaps more loving, channel? Announcements begin at 9:50am. Download words/lyrics and a colouring page before the service. They’ll be available here on Friday. Speaker: Rev. Julie Stoneberg Service Co-Leader: Ben Wolfe Service Tech Support: Steph Curtin and Paul King-Fisher Music: TBA

THE REPENTING BUTTERFLY Sunday service September 27, 2020 10:00 am 11:30 am September’s Theme: A Community of Renewal... Join the virtual service here: https://tinyurl.com/UFPsundayservice The Jewish High Holy Days encourage a practice of communal repentance and forgiveness. Do you have trouble saying you’re sorry? Or offering forgiveness? Would it be easier if we thought to about these acts as practices for the common good? We had a great time meeting outdoors on Sept 20 and would like to do it again. But there’s rain in this week’s forecast. Maybe another week. Watch for updates. Speaker: Rev. Julie Stoneberg Service Co-Leader: Steph Curtin Service Tech Support: Sherry Hambley and Ben Wolfe Music: TBA

WHAT MATTERS NOW? Sunday Service September 6, 2020 10:00 am 11:30 am September’s Theme: A Community of Renewal... Join the service here: https://tinyurl.com/UFPsundayservice It’s the time of year that we typically re-group and re-start, repeating decades-old patterns. But this year, it’s all different. Really different. A few months ago, we offered a course called What Matters Now and it now seems appropriate to explore this question as a congregation. Participatory words and a colouring page will be available for download and print on Sept 4. Speaker: Rev. Julie Stoneberg Service Leader: TBA Music: TBA Join the service here: https://tinyurl.com/UFPsundayservice
