The last photo of this Series! Beautiful Pyramid Mountain in Jasper, AB. Perhaps it was one of the easiest photos to get, not much of a hike & Mother Nature took care of the weather. The beautiful Hardwood forest and the pink quartz provide some colours that stand out amongst the others. Parks Canada Travel Alberta #rockies #autumn #fall #pyramidmountain
Day 7 of 8 brings us to #goldenbc, arguably one of my favourite places on our 3600km route. This quaint town sits between two ranges, on the Columbia River (pictured) and offers a launching off point into the mountains outside of the protected parks. Thankfully no Grizzlies were seen but lots of Black Bears were in this area #britishcolumbia #columbiariver #landscapephotography #rockies #kootenays #purcells Golden, British Columbia
6/8. A secret water fall deep in the Mountains... maybe its not so secret. Recognize this place? It would be a sight to see this river swollen in the spring & early summer.
Day 5 of an 8 day photo series highlighting some of my favourite photos from a recent trip to Alberta & B.C. Three Sisters & Mount Hosmer from the Goldilocks loop in the Lizard Range. We hiked 12km and 760m to encounter a scramble at the end, kind of spooky in the snow! It was worth it Fernie BC Island Lake Lodge #landscapephotography #rockies #goldilocksloop
DAY 4! A female Elk keeps an eye on me as she & her young forage along the shore of the #athabascariver outside of #jaspernationalpark. The only thing cooler was hearing a Male bugling and watching them cross the river in a gang. Edmonton Tourism Jasper National Park Parks Canada National Geographic #parksmemories
If you can, think about supporting local businesses!
We brought the Phantom up to Blue Mountain on one of the last runs of the season. Quick stop off in the middle of Collingwood Harbour to capture some of the melt. Not nearly as much ice as previous years!
We found this Icelandic Turf House some where along the coast with the Greenland Sea. I hope the Horses don’t get too hungry! Haha
