1st Lake Country Scouts

We got new hammocks! Met on a Saturday so the Scouts could learn to set them up and learn some new knots as well. Can't wait to take these camping!

Unfortunately this year due to safety protocols all of our volunteering had to be cancelled. Thankfully our Scouts and their amazing families were still able to sponsor a family for the holidays. This year has been tough on many and together we were able to step up for a family. We don't call it a hand "out" but a hand "up" and that is what community means. I am one proud Scouter tonight after seeing how happy the Scouts were and the little extras they added to make this more heartfelt

Cooking sloppy joes and hot dogs was our activity tonight. Had a few different warm areas set up outside and filled our tummies. Simple cooking for the win

Tonight Scouts played glow in the dark capture the flag! We like to mix learning outdoor skills and fun. There is still space to register youth for our Scout Troop
