1st Port Burwell Scouting perfected their Minecraft Skills tonight. Next week we are not meeting due to the long weekend. Following that we will be continuing our Zoom meetings until October where (COVID 19 at the time dependent) we plan to resume modified in person Scouting once school has sorted itself out for most. #Scoutsdostuff #ScoutsCanada #Scoutingfromhome Tri-Shores Council, Scouts Canada
Minecraft Week #2. Beavers made homes, Cubs made a Zoo and Scouts crafted an amusement park for the other sections to see in an upcoming meeting. If any other groups are looking to try this- it is really neat. We are paying about $10 a month per section to host our own personal servers so that the youth are able to play in a secure world with each other. We leave a Zoom meeting running in the background so that they are able to speak with each other and brainstorm in real time. Let us know if you need any direction getting started.
Tonight 1st Port Burwell Scouting met virtually over ZOOM and played Minecraft over the computer.
