Landscape Ontario is facilitating a comprehensive 6 weeks training program. The GROW New Entrant Training Program is for individuals who wish to enter the landscape and horticultural industry. It provides 4 weeks of soft and technical skills training with 2 weeks of paid work placement opportunity. Transportation will be provided. The program is FREE for participants. This will be a virtual discussion where community is able to share ideas on different approaches for responding to crisis calls and suggest recommendations for future community investments that could improve the safety and well-being of members of our communities. INDIGENOUS YOUTH OPPORTUNITY! Youth and mentors needed. Creative Native is going to look a little bit different this year... Youth will be paired with Indigeno...us mentors working in the industry to learn skills of their preferred creative field. Creative teams will produce a response video inspired by a Buffy Sainte-Marie song and will be featured in a final compilation video.
