There is an honorarium of $75 for 2-Spirit community members who participate. This is a great way for community to share their voice in creating different approaches for responding to crisis calls and tp suggest recommendations for future community investments that could improve the safety and well-being for our communities.

Landscape Ontario is facilitating a comprehensive 6 weeks training program. The GROW New Entrant Training Program is for individuals who wish to enter the landscape and horticultural industry. It provides 4 weeks of soft and technical skills training with 2 weeks of paid work placement opportunity. Transportation will be provided. The program is FREE for participants. Family stories read by our Trans, Two-spirit and Non-binary community members today for Trans Remembrance Day. Between 4-5 pm, those who join will be given a chance to win a copy of "When Aidan Became a Brother". This will be a virtual discussion where community is able to share ideas on different approaches for responding to crisis calls and suggest recommendations for future community investments that could improve the safety and well-being of members of our communities. There will be an Elder present throughout the conversation. Wednesday November 4th between 4-6 pm. Youth will be paired with Indigeno...us mentors working in the industry to learn skills of their preferred creative field. Creative teams will produce a response video inspired by a Buffy Sainte-Marie song and will be featured in a final compilation video.
