#motivationalmonday Check out these two NHL greats or should we say Little League Canada greats! As Wayne Gretzky said "In youth hockey, in most cases, it's ...really important for kids to play other sports - whether it's indoor lacrosse or soccer or baseball. I think what that does is two things. One, each sport helps the other sport. And then I think taking time off in the off-season - that three- or four-month window - really rejuvenates kids so when they come back at the end of August, they're more excited. They think, 'All right, hockey's back, I'm ready to go." The moral of the story Hockey is great but play more sports and LITTLE LEAGUE can finetune different skills and talents.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting many of these mom's when they were in Medicine Hat. They are an amazing group of parents / mom's and I am grateful to consider some of them my new friends. Way to go mom's you've raised some great young men out there. We are so proud of how they represented Canada and Little League Canada.
The team from B.C. is enjoying the most successful run by a Canadian team in years at the Little League World Series
At the end of the day, baseball is, first and foremost, a game.
