2020 Can/Am Clydesdale Extravaganza Sales Report for July 30th & 31st. We would like to thank all our consignors and buyers who participated in the above sale. Allowing us to sell 82 outstanding Clydesdales who were turned out right and are heading to there new homes. It was an emotional roller coaster putting this sale together due to the current Covid-19 situation but everyone pulled together to have a successful sale. The breakdown of averages were as follows: 32 mares sold for an average of $9,525.00 per head, 29 Geldings sold for and average of $10,400.00 per head & 6 stallions sold for an average of $7,975.00. Making the total average for the sale at $9,764.93. Our sales crew have decided to make this an annual sale with next years dates already booked. Here are some top seller from an outstanding sale due to the quality of animals we had to offer. The sales staff would like to thank all those consignors and hope the new buyers enjoy their purchases. 32 Mares sold for an average of $9,525 this included the foals that sold with the mares, 29 Geldings sold for an average of $10,400.00 & 6 Stallions sold for an average of $7,975.00. Total horses sold was 67 with an overall average of $9,764.93 per head. We had 15 No Sales but this included 8 in the Auction by Absentee Section, where the horses were no on display.

Lot 212 RSL Spectra’s Emma 2020 Can/Am Sale This 9 year old mare is 18+hh. She is well broke, has been shown in the wheel and swing of our hitch. Broke single a...s well, and will hitch on both sides. Long necked very correct mare. Extremely quiet, very easy to do everything with. Was used in the junior showmanship last year as well. I know most Canadians won't be able to go to the Can/Am Clydesdale Sale in Shipshewana, IN So Carson Farms are opening there doors to anyone who would like to see any of their horses that will be sold at the sale. Doors will be open on both Thursday and Friday July 23rd & 24th from 10am to 4pm. Everyone welcome. These are an excellent set of horses not often offered for sale by public auction.

Lots of fun was had while doing our virtual show. David opened this to the public and through the generous donations of the spectators we raised $500. Which Dav...id is going to match and donate to the Listowel Hospital. To Our Clydesdale friends; As most of you well know, the 2020 Can/Am Clydesdale Extravaganza which was originally scheduled to take place March 26 & 27, 2020 had to be postponed due to the COVID19 virus. We are happy to announce that the sale will tentatively take place on July 30th & 31st, 2020 pending both Canadian and US guidelines at the Michiana Event Center as originally planned. We are opening the sale to new consignments and will be printing a supplemental catalog that will list updates on the original consignments, substitute entries, new consignments of horses and equipment. These entries are being accepted NOW!!! As before, we look forward to seeing you as consignors, buyers, and friends! Duane Chupp & David Carson

David & Duane are pleased to see that some consignors are being able to sell their horses that were consigned to the Can/Am Clydesdale Sale. They totally understand the extra costs involved due to the postponement. They themselves are trying not to sell their animals and waiting for the new sale date to go ahead. Once they get full confirmation that we are able to go ahead on July 30th & 31st, 2020 we will be taking additional entries open to both past consignors and new consignors. We understand these NEW sale dates won't accommodate everyone, we are just trying our best in this every difficult time to keep planning ahead. When the sale goes ahead we will be making amendments to the standing Lot numbers to show if a mare has foaled or is bred etc. We will also be taking additional consignments as the National Clydesdale Sale was cancelled, but these will sell after the original Can/Am horses have been sold.
