With 2021 around the corner and our upcoming 25th year of business, Nanook Lodge and the Anderson family is proud to substantially increase our footprint on Stuart Island with the addition of our neighbors property! Our great neighbor George Corley is transferring his property to Nanook Lodge after 40 years of ownership and fond memories. We have enjoyed our neighbors who have watched us grow over the past 24 years and become one of the last family owned fishing and adventure... lodges in the northwest. Now with over 400’ of pristine waterfront in Big Bay our view of the Yuculta Rapids and Cordero Channel is even better! The Lodge, currently open with many happy Canadian anglers, is now prepared to enter the 2021 season with ample room to deliver the perfect isolated adventure. A new Tyee Package is in final design stages for 2021 to include fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing and personalized trips for discerning groups that want exclusivity of the premises. We have taken the time during this summer to comply with all Canadian and BC Governmental requirements and continue to work on major projects. We are currently reworking our physical plant as well as creating eco-friendly environments, top to bottom. We will have a new look, preserving our past and adding new touches of the Pacific Northwest. Drawing on and participating in some of the educational opportunities/aspects that the South Great Bear Rainforest has to offer. Look for our new photography packages as well! We plan to offer more photography workshops next season! The Andersons wish to thank all of our guests, neighbors and family for their loyal support over the decades.
