On Octo...ber 25th, 2020 police were called to a suspicious death of a male who was located on a trail, in Point Grondine Reserve, off of Hwy 637 in Killarney. The cause of death was later confirmed to be an injury from a firearm. A joint forces investigation is continuing by Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Branch and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
