In Loving Memory of Keith Barrie and Manuel Cuadros

25 years ago today, a tragic accident occurred that took the lives of 2 great Paramedics, and even greater men. Today, on behalf of all Paramedics in Manitoba, as well as across the country and around the world, the Manitoba Paramedic Honour Guard placed flowers where these two Paramedic brothers are laid to rest in Beausejour, Manitoba. They died in the Line of Duty, serving the citizens of Beausejour, and the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead.... They will never be forgotten. Two lakes in northern Manitoba have been named after each of them, and we will continue to work to honour their memory. Semper Memoria.

Today, on behalf of the members of the Winnipeg Paramedic Benevolent Society, executive members laid a wreath with the assistance of the Manitoba Paramedic Hono...ur Guard. The Honour Guard played The Last Post and Revielle prior to and following moment of silence. We were joined by two officers of the RCMP and they asked us to convey their thanks on behalf of the entire organization to our members for the kind gesture at this difficult time. 24 years ago today, we lost two brothers in the Line of Duty. We will never forget them. Today, our thoughts and love go out to their families, and friends worldwide.
