@OPPNorthEast reminds motorists to leave a one metre space when passing cyclists. The penalty for passing within one metre is a $110 fine and 2 demerit points. Share the road!

Before work today the OM took part in the LCW long ITT, 47km. The conditions where ideal. headwind out tailwind home, even though the temperature increased by 10c during the event. Some amazing times where posted, check out the LCW results page. Not having ridden his TT bike for such a duration in a long time the OM is a little sore at the moment but smiling. :) Many thanks to the LCW for putting on the event and the volunteers who made it possible. For those opera...ting motor vehicles, please slow down and exercise courtesy and patience when driving around cyclists. We are all following the 2-metre rule in grocery stores-- let’s give people on bicycles the same distance when passing in your car. See more

When you are cruising at 40kph on your Gravel ride, on the way out, you know it is going to be brutal on the way home, it was. :) OM

Today would have been Springbank RR, the OM would have raced and manned the wheel pit but most importantly he would have sponsored and helped the Kids race along with Coach Chris, over the years some of the kids who entered this race are now bringing their kids, however, to make up for his disappointment he went for a ride and saw many of the competitors also putting the miles in. :) Stay safe OM
