Forest trails are a GO with dual classic track laid Thursday 19th morning! Most other trails packed (for skate). Lodge will open Sat, Nov 21st with modifications. Sorry no rentals until early December - watch for an update to be posted. http://www.wapitinordic.com/trail-conditions.html

A friendly reminder to all non skiers - please DO NOT walk on the groomed "corduroy" trails or on the classic "rail road" tracks. It takes hours of work to pack and level these trails for skate and classic skiers. We developed our Multi Use trails specifically for hikers and snowshoers. Please visit our website to view the Multi Use trail maps and follow all signage. Thank you!

It's time!!! The Sherpa's have been out on the trails today and will be out tomorrow. The snow is being packed and we will let you know when classic tracks are set. This means that walkers must now stay off the trails. Remember that dogs are only allowed on the north ski trails.

We have received a few questions about when the trails will open. So - here is a quick Grooming 101 lesson. First we need at least 10 cm of snow. It is packed, then tracked. Folks have been out on "rock" skis, but we need more snow. How can you help? Either at night or during the day, head outside and do your best snow dance!
