We will only reopen when we are comfortable that it is safe to do so. This means not only having the green light from provincial governments and public health officials to open an non-staffed small workout space but, also being confident that we have our standards in place so that members and associates feel safe coming back to our gyms. We are targeting early August. We expect to have capacity restrictions to comply with local guidelines. Thanks you so much to all who have reached out to offer support and kind thoughts and words. It is truly appreciated.

Out of an abundance of caution, 247 Fitness has made the difficult decision to temporarily close each of its facilities. There was no evidence of Covid-19 contamination however we will be taking this time to do a deep and thorough cleaning of our facilities. We will work with the community to support all precautions in the interest of public safety. We will reopen as soon as possible. ... Please stay tuned to our social media for all updates.

Child labour... Put all the kids to work getting the Westport gym open this weekend. Helps immensely having a computer programmer and a business major in the family. That was money well spent. Here @iamccward is programming key fobs and getting them in alphabetical order for customer pick up. Over 50 today alone.

The Westport Gym officially opened Sunday Feb 18th at 6 pm. It took a little longer than planned on a few last minute necessary items but we're open! Jamie Day is the first official key carrying member! . We will be at the gym today from 11a-2p to hand out key fobs. We will also be in Tuesday, Wednesday 7:30 -9 and Thursday from 7-9 this week as well as all day next Saturday. Happy family day! @ Westport, Ontario

Getting the wall done at the Kingston gym.

Kingston members: we have a pipe burst last week and I think did cause some damage to the Red and black bench press. This piece was here on consignment/loan and it was returned to the owner. We have had mixed reaction so far and basd in Justin's suggestion we have decided to replace it. There will be a bench press back soon. We are also adding an additional rack station with another style Flat, Incline & Decline bench. Last week we added a kick but leg ext leg curl from Matrix. Thanks KS for your patience.

Westport gym update: We were hoping to be open by now however we encountered a blip this week with our door control access system. We need an additional mechanism to meet code. We do expect that to be resolved this very soon and we are hopeful to be open before Valentine's day. Sorry for the delay. We are as anxious as you.
