SOMETHING NEW.. Voice + Acting classes! Train with our in house coach, Melissa Mackenzie. Open to students ages 10+... Melissa is a performer, educator, and activist originally from Prince Edward Island. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance from Sheridan College, and studied piano and voice at the University of Prince Edward Island. Melissa has over a decade of experience in private music instruction, including musical theatre, voice, piano, music theory, aural skills. Melissa wants to help you find your unique, healthy sound and develop your confidence as a performer. For fees and availability, contact us today!

It’s BACK Starting this week! Our original BELIEVE program has been given a bit of a makeover & will be starting once again in January 2021. Self - identified girls ages 11+ are invited to join us weekly for honest conversations about things that are important to us. We talk social media, body image, self esteem, goal setting, friendships & drama, goal setting, healthy habits and anything else you want to talk about. This program is here FOR YOU. In 2021 the BELIEVE progr...am will be combining conversation with movement. Girls can expect to take part in a variety of different activities that will get us moving. Think yoga, indoor rock climbing, dance, fitness classes.... let’s develop strong minds and bodies. Program runs for 10 weeks. Starts January 15th 2021. The program takes place on FRIDAY afternoons 3:30 -5:00pm at the Charlottetown yoga space. https://24strongpei.square.site/confidence

Our full winter/spring term Jan - May is now closed for registration, however, we decided to offer a 12-week spring session starting in March! These students will also get to be part of our year-end showcase! So..... you've been wanting to learn how to dance but you think you're too old? No wayyyyyy!!! I teach a beginner level, adult hiphop class on Friday evenings and I promise you it's so much fun. No experience is required, it's open to anyone aged 16 - 116 Classes are drop-in, so no need to commit to an entire session. Friends with little kids - 24strong now has an intro to dance class for ages 3+! Saturdays 11:30am - 12:15pm This class introduces the basics of all styles of dance through imagination-based games, set exercises and sing-along songs! Students will learn arm and feet positions, as well as basic dance steps and rhythm that will prepare them to enter the beginner level of any style of dance! This is a high energy class aimed at igniting the love of dance in your little ones.... Each class will include - a fun theme that changes each week (Disney, animals, holidays, etc.) - a welcome song - a warm-up tailored to each weeks theme - set exercises that build on the skills and technique learned each week - Balance and rhythm exercises - Imagination games - Free dance - Listening and follow along exercises We start Saturday, Jan 9th! To our 24strong students & families : We have been SO lucky to have been able to operate our classes & experience what so many others across the world could not. We are continually grateful for the incredible leadership in PEI and we, as Islanders must continue to follow this leadership so that these new closures are temporary. As of tomorrow, Dec 7th, we will have NO MORE DANCE CLASSES for 2020. Unfortunately, our drummer boy Christmas video project is cancelled at this mom...ent & we are working on brainstorming a way to make this happen in the near future. Your hard work and dedication this season deserves to be showcased & we promise that will happen. Please be kind with one another and with yourself. Keep your circle very small & follow the guidelines set out by our government. We You.
