Harry LeClair & John Lee - Comber
On behalf of our Comber Museum, I would like to thank all those who helped support our Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday night either by purchasing or selling a ticket or donating to help with the meal. We sold over 90 tickets and fed over 100 people. I need to thank Mike Gagnier and Krista Willms at Countryside Canners who have continued to support our museum dinner for the sixth year in a row. I also need to thank my friend Chef Pat Lizzi from Mezzo Restaurante in Windso...r for providing us with the wonderful salad and dressing as well as my good friend Dorothy for those delicious, mouthwatering butter tarts. . Thanks also go to my amazing brother and sister-in-law, Mick and Helen Myles, my daughter Stacey, my son Dan .. and last, but by no means least, those amazing ladies from the Comber Legion Ladies Auxillary. Linda and I couldn't have done it without them. Mark McKinlay See more

Our Comber Museum - 2020 Strange times!!
Getting together all my ingredients for my authentic Italian sauce for our Comber Museum's Saturday night (Nov.21st) take out dinner from the Comber Legion. I will be putting together another special Italian Spaghetti Dinner from the recipe vault in my basement, my sixth, in the past six years. This year's will be as good, or better than our previous years. Our special "Italian" salad for the dinner is compliments of Chef Pat from Mezzo's Restaurante in Windsor. We will also ...be providing fresh Italian Ciabatta buns and a special treat to finish off the meal, we have "Dorothy's" mouth watering, home made butter tarts. This is our Comber Museum's sixth Annual Fundraising Banquet. I must thank our very own Countryside Canners for providing all of the tomatoes, sauce, paste and pasta as well as our new Ward 5 Councillor Kirk Walstead who has donated the lean ground beef again this year. Special thanks to my Brother and Sister-in-law Mick and Helen Myles for all their help.. We've had to scale down the celebration this year due to Covid 19, but certainly not on this meal.. We still have some tickets available at the Comber Legion or you can message me right here on Facebook . Tickets are $25 each with all proceeds going to our Comber Museum Building Fund. See more
