Good evening 2912, this week we will be continuing training virtually. For this Wednesday, November 25th we will be participating in a Family Feud event with our sister corps 2915 Capreol. Order of dress will be FTU’s (combats) for those who have them. Corps t-shirts or appropriate civilian clothing for everyone else. Hair done neatly as per usual. Proudly represent 2912. Zoom call will be with A DIFFERENT LINK, and the event will START AT 18:30HRS so keep eyes open for mess...aging and zoom link details. We look forward to seeing everyone go head-to-head with some friendly competition about cadet based knowledge in FAMILY FEUD this Wednesday.

As a reminder to all, last night's virtual remembrance parade was our parade night for this week. Remember to take your own time today to honour those who never returned, or returned to never be the same. We will see you next week. Lest we forget Capt. O'Link.
Proud of our Cadets who are finding ways to pause, reflect, and Remember.
Good afternoon 2912, in light of the current situation in Sudbury with COVID-19, training over the next 2 weeks will be conducted virtually. For this Wednesday, November 18th we will be participating in a Virtual Reverse Escape Room. Master cadets, be prepared to instruct (details will flow through your chain of command). Order of dress will be FTU’s (combats) for those who have them. Corps Tee shirts or appropriate civilian clothing for everyone else. Hair done neatly as per usual. Zoom call in details will remain the same. We look forward to seeing everyone online Wednesday.
Eleven units in Central Region's Northern Ontario Area (NOA), led by 2912 Sudbury Irish Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, participated in a special, virtual pre-...Remembrance Day event Tuesday evening (10 Nov) -- some of the highlights are captured in this 10-min (attached) edited version. With more than 200 participants, the event included the traditional last post, two minutes of silence, and several other tributes to remembrance and the service and sacrifices of our veterans over the past 100-plus years. 2Lt David Deloye, a local historian and an officer with the 2nd Battalion Irish Regiment of Canada, provided an outstanding and comprehensive overview of the often horrific conditions faced by Canadian and other troops during WW1 -- and the ongoing work to mark the contributions of Sudbury area and other veterans during this and other wars and conflicts. Describing the event as "an absolutely exceptional evening" and "a spectacular tribute of remembrance", LCol Barry Leonard, RCSU-Central CO, also spoke of the courage of our veterans as it applied then and still does today. "Courage doesn't mean you're not afraid," he said. "Courage means you do it anyways." #CadetsRemember
