Today the Commander of the Natl CJCR Sp Gp has provided additional information as we get ready for the resumption of in-person training on October 1st. Here are... some of the key points: Cadets and adult staff (CAF, CIs, and Volunteers) must inform their chain of command if they have been tested for COVID-19 and also the results. Prior to departing home for any in-person activities, all adult personnel and cadets will complete the COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool at: https://www.thrive.health/health-canada-self-assessment-tool Non-medical masks will be worn at all times indoors and outdoors by all adult personnel and cadets at any in-person activities, until they are issued cadets and staff are allowed to bring their own disposable or reusable non-medical masks for in-person activities. As agreed upon with the Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command, National Cadet and Junior and Canadian Rangers in-person Remembrance Day activity participation is not authorized for 2020, however we will offer exciting online collaborations. All other activities, including any open-house events to attract new cadets, commemorative ceremonies or acts of remembrance must be planned to be delivered virtually. Your Corps and Sqn should be in touch with you soon with more information as we move towards in-person activities.
