A HUGE congratulations on the promotion to Warrant Officer Second Class! WO2 Thompson-Armstrong joined cadets to pursue his dream of becoming a pilot. "My favourite part of cadets is definitely learning about aviation and the flying program. I also enjoy teaching at 292 and helping lead our biathlon team. Cadets has taught me a lot, especially about aviation, leadership, and teamwork. My experiences at 292 and during summer training have helped give me experiences that will help me well into the future". WO2 Thompson-Armstrong has been a dedicated member of 292 for years now, we are very proud of all he has achieved!

Our Commanding Officer recently had the opportunity to promote some very deserving cadets. A huge congratulations to WO2 Katie Clyburne. Clyburne joined cadets in 2017 to break up her rigorous competitive swimming schedule. "I found I truly loved the cadet program. My favourite part of cadets is aviation and survival (I completed the Advanced Aviation Course, the Survival Instructor Course, and was accepted for the Glider Pilot Training Course last year). I have learned leadership skills and tons of aviation knowledge from the program. Cadets has also allowed me to do things I never expected to do: gliding, doing zero gravity in a Cessna, going on an Army Cadet Field Training Exercise, Biathlon Nationals, and Marksmanship." WO2 Clyburne sure is an active cadet and we're proud to have her leadership at 292.
