Scouting Calendar Fundraiser! Neil Looby here - I'm Group Commissioner and Troop Scouter with the 2nd Smiths Falls Scouting group. In 2019 I attended the 24th World Scout Jamboree - North America in West Virginia, United States. I was an IST member (International Service Team) and part of the Security Stewards team. Many throw around the phrase life changing when describing experiences of this magnitude. I can say without doubt that the memories and friends I made in those ...weeks will define me for a very long time. I wish to share this life experience with members of our group. I have created an 11x8 hanging Wall Calendar, made up of Scouting and nature photos I have personally taken over the years. They are being produced by Photobook Worldwide, who is known for their high quality products. These will be for sale for $20. There is an additional cost to ship if you aren't from our local area. All proceeds from this calendar fundraiser will support members from our 2nd Smiths Falls Scouting Group in attending National and International experiences in the future. FREEEEEEDOM! Troop was back in person this week after a long October spent on Zoom. We took to the paths and streets of Smiths Falls doing the Urban Bike Night that we had planned for the start of October. We took our route to see the new Bike Path on Beckwith Street!
