A very exciting day in Port Perry as we had our ribbon cutting , staff training and open house today. We met some wonderful families and staff. Looking forward to being a a part of this lovely community.

Feeling grateful. Today was a scheduled staff meeting with my Supervisors and Directors. Outdoors and 6 feet apart of course. Watching these beautiful ladies share and discuss Covid policies and procedures made me realize once again that I am blessed with the strongest and most resilient team of professionals one could hope for. Thank you to our families who patiently wait in lines for screening each morning to ensure all PPE protocols are followed. Thank you to our incredible team of educators who continue to LOVE every single day. We are all in this together. Stay safe and well

A little preview of our sweet baby room in Port Perry. All our rooms have huge windows with so much sunlight pouring in, so beautiful. Our Open House is Thursday and we are very excited to introduce our PP staff to our new families.

A huge congratulations to our Rougemount ladies who had a surprise Ministry inspection last week. %. These are tough times and it makes me so proud to know that 2 inspections during Covid and both were !!!!!! HHDC ladies ROCK

Well our first week of Kindergarten is almost complete at HHDC and what a week it has been. The kids have been SO excited to start our program and with smaller cohorts amd extra outdoor times, they are getting a wonderful mix of learning and exploration every day. Thanks to our amazing kinder teachers who are embracing this new normal, fantasy job ladies.

A sneak peek of some of the goodies in our Welcome to Kindergarten activity bags. Creative. Sensory, Literacy and Sensory items, all individual for each child, in a vinyl bag that can be easily sanitized.

HHDC is very excited to offer an alternative to Kindergarten in the school. Our smaller class sizes at many of our locations offer a comprehensive learning program that uses elements from the DDSB Kindergarten curriculum along with emphasis on STEM, literacy and How Does Learning Happen. If you feel nervous about sending your child to full day in school learning, this may be a suitable alternative for you amd your child. Contact us today for more information. Congratulations to our Lakesise ladies who had the first surprise COVID Ministry inspection today. They rocked it. % !!!! Ministry was quite impressed with our social distancing practices and the fact that we are doing plenty of outdoor activities. As always, thank you so much for all you do HHDC staff xo

Today was a wonderful day. I had the absolute pleasure of watching one of our programs in action. As I sat in my vehicle I was able to watch and enjoy one of our age groups and their educators interact and enjoy their time outdoors. Guess what? Everything looked so normal. Happy kids riding bikes , joyful teachers supervising and interacting with these kiddos, what a beautiful site. One of the children needed a hug, and without hesitation, he got one from his teacher. No hesitation, just love HHDC ladies, thank you for your dedication to your chosen career. You are appreciated
