Today is #givingtuesday! After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, join the movement dedicated to giving back to your local community! Your donation makes a significant impact to our organization. We’re able to train more responders to answer our 24-hour helplines, online crisis text and chat service, and LGBTQ Prideline. We’re able to have responders call people in our community who are facing mental health issues, and call seniors who are facing significant isolation and lonel...iness. We’re able to provide support to a person who just lost a loved one to suicide. As you can see, your donation provides support and hope to many. To donate, please visit our website. Link in bio.
We still have space in our Senior’s Reassurance Call-Out Program! Do you know a senior in your community who could benefit from receiving weekly phone calls from trained responders? This program offers emotional support, safety check-ins, medication reminders and crisis support to seniors 55+ living in Durham Region. Interested? Call 905-430-3511 to inquire.
We will remember. . . . #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget

A huge shout-out to Nutrition Kitchen Bowmanville for taking the initiative to start a fundraiser last month in support of DCD! They ran a km for each day in Sept, totalling to 30 km! How amazing is that?! We value your support and are so grateful to all who contributed
