Today, Pte Connor Doucette of 2 Field Ambulance was the first #CAF member to receive a #COVID19 vaccine from the Canadian Forces health care system as a result ...of their Priority 1 designation due to their occupation as a Medical Technician. CAF members who are frontline healthcare providers working in high risk clinical settings or who have health conditions that make them vulnerable to severe forms of COVID-19, will be the first priority group to receive a vaccine from the Canadian Forces health care system. Vaccinations for 1,200 CAF members in this group are anticipated between January and February 2021. The priority order of COVID-19 immunizations within the CAF is determined by the Vaccine Prioritization Framework.
