In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to let our clients know some of the steps we’ve taken here at our clinic to protect you during your visit. When you book your appointment, one of our team members will ask you if you have recently returned from travel or have been experiencing any flu-like symptoms (including fever, cough, or shortness of breath). If you have, we’ll ask you to reschedule your appointment. Once you get here, you’ll notice our waiting area looks diff...erent. We’ve removed all magazines, books, and toys from the waiting area, as well as our coffee/tea bar. We have also removed every other chair and increased the distance between the remaining chairs. You’ll also notice hand sanitizer and tissue available in the waiting area for your use. During your session, please be aware that our team members won’t be shaking your hand and may invite you to wash your own hands prior to your session. At the time of payment, please try to use the tap feature on your debit or credit card or on your phone. In addition to these changes, we’re taking the following 12 measures to mitigate disease transmission. 1. We instructed all our team members to wash their hands frequently throughout each day and to avoid touching their face. 2. Our team members will stay home if they’re sick, even if it’s not COVID-19. 3. Work surfaces at our clinic will be wiped down and disinfected every hour. 4. We’re cleaning debit machines between payments. We’re also disinfecting pens between each use. 5. We’re wiping and disinfecting patient rooms after every visit, including treatment beds. 6. We’re wiping down and disinfecting the waiting area chairs and tables several times each day. 7. We’re disinfecting door handles and phones several times each day 8. We instructed our team members to not share food, utensils, or water bottles. We also temporarily suspended our regular pizza days. 9. We’re temporarily waiving all cancellation fees. 10. We’re disinfecting clipboards after each use. 11. We instructed team members to wash their hands if they ever cough or sneeze, even if it’s in the middle of a treatment session. 12. Our registered massage therapists will not use heating pads for the time being. If you have any questions about any of these measures, please contact our clinic at (780) 962-4646.
