Building a marriage without God is much like building a sailboat with only toothpicks... with enough glue it will float, but when storms approach they will rip ...you apart and leave you in pieces. Note that it's not "if" storms approach, but "when". God does not a guarantee an easy life to those who follow him; he promises quite the opposite (John 16:33). After all, God is the goal, not for things to be "easy". So, how can you build your life & marriage on God? We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Everything starts with Jesus. Then, (practically speaking) begin wisely applying Biblical truth to your life and marriage. This means immersing yourself in Scripture, prayerfully applying what it says, and being a part of gospel-centered community. There's much more to consider, but we'll leave it at that for now! --- Wherever you're at in your marriage and journey with Christ, we are praying for you! We're praying for his continued mercy and that you may experience his grace in transforming ways each dayall so you can extend his glory to those around you.
