Tomorrow will be the first time since the end of World War 1 that Canadians will not gather at Cenotaph memorials for our Fallen Comrades on 11 November. Safety is the most important for each and every member as we navigate through these unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic. While you are at home tomorrow, pause and take a moment of silence at 1100hr to reflect and remember the brave sacrifices made on our behalf by the men and women of our Canadian Armed Forces ove...r more then a 100 years of armed conflict, and peaceful service here and abroad. If you have to be out and away from your home, please pause for a minute and think about the good that the poppy you wear is doing for our society in the past and in real time. If you are able to, Maj Jim Blomme who is the CO of 2947 (RCEME) RCACC has extended an invitayion to all to attend the cadet corps virtual ceremony open at 1030hr on 11 November 2020. Lest we forget. https://teams.microsoft.com//19%3ameeting_N2YyY2UxZjktZ/0 #39svcbn #39servicebattalion #canadaremembers #Canada #RichmondBC #remembranceday #CAF #soldier #CanadianArmedForces #freedom #lestweforget #memorial #weremember #poppy #veterans #honor #proud #devotion #patriotic #respect #courage #bravery #sacrifice #veteransweek

The laying of wreaths is an integral part of Remembrance Day services. It allows individuals and organizations to pay respect and tribute to our veterans, to those who have been injured in the line of duty, and to all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for peace. A wreath is held in 2 hands and is gently laid as a symbol of commemoration.... #39svcbn #39servicebattalion #canadaremembers #Canada #RichmondBC #remembranceday #CAF #soldier #CanadianArmedForces #freedom #lestweforget #memorial #weremember #poppy #veterans #honor #proud #devotion #patriotic #respect #courage #bravery #sacrifice #veteransweek
