Today we completed our garlic planting for 2020! Tomorrow we’ll put those beds to sleep for the winter and wait for spring!!!

I figured I would take this time to thank everyone for their support this season! 2020 has certainly been the most challenging year to deal with yet! But our amazing customers were out in full force this year letting us know that local food is where it’s at! When this season started we had absolutely no idea what to expect, COVID had changed all the rules. We started this season with knots in our stomachs.. would we have a venue to sell? Would customers come out during... a pandemic? Would we all be on lockdown?? And then the news came down the pipeline that garlic festivals were cancelled. Well that’s when some amazing things began to unfold. Farmers markets were busier than I have seen them in many years. Customers were supporting their local growers! Online sales were up too! And as for those cancelled garlic fests?? Well the Farmers markets of BC stepped up big time there, we were invited to quite a few Garlic Markets where we met a lot more amazing people who were wanting to support local growers! We made a lot of new friends this summer! And our faith was restored that we are indeed on the right track! And as our season winds down as the full moon rises over the pumpkin patch, we just wanted to say Thank you. Thank you everyone for allowing us to continue to do what we love this year! Happy Halloween Y’all!! Stay safe out there tonight, whatever your plans may be!

Alright folks! Tomorrow (Halloween Day) is the big day! Looks like the weather is with us so we are going to be open from 10am-3 pm!! Feel free to come out i...n Costume! We’ve got pumpkins! We’ve got squash! We’ve got Halloween cheer! And treats for the children! Due to covid we have to limit to 50 people inside of the gate at any given time. Please remember to social distance, it’s a big field so there shouldn’t be an issue. Hand sanitizer at the front gate! Please follow the one way entrance and exit signs at the gate. Thank you!
